This set is not an heirloom piece by any means, but for the sale price and our particular needs (light use, able to sit 6+ people without a huge footprint), we are pleased. Arrived quickly (3 days) in two large boxes delivered together. Assembly was very straightforward. The quality isn’t superb and the materials will chip/dent easily, but the pros outweigh the cons for us, especially since this set will not be used daily. It’s hard to find an uncomplicated set that has clean lines, easy to pull out chairs for dusting, and vacuuming/mopping floors underneath, while still looking quite formal and elegant. This set is a nice cozy little table which has saved space in our lounge area. It was relatively easy to set up in terms of the number of parts, but you definitely need two people. The table has sharp pointed edges. so if you have little ones you may want to get corner protectors. Otherwise, the table is relatively lightweight and moves easily, so I recommend getting something when we need to hold it still if you do not have carpeted floors. I love this set. I am redoing my open concept, San Diego, formal dining room into something more casual. My thinking was "upscale country." I bought this and a white pantry with black hardware and it's coming together nicely. It's exactly as pictured and high quality for the money. It came a little earlier than expected so we're still painting but here's a pic of how it looks so far. Really recommend this for an informal dining room or kitchen. Beautiful. Also, though we paid for it to be assembled, this was not a huge headache to put together. Minimal time spent. Really this is a great piece for gathering. Counter height table is appealing to get people together. Comfy pads on chairs and bench. The leaves are built-in and easy to pull out and snap in place. The construction is well done. Table is steady. Love the foot rest under the table so feet don’t dangle. Plus now I have extra space for food prep in a kitchen with little counter space. Awesome that it comes pre-made already, so once you pull it out of the box, it’s ready to be used. Super easy to latchunlatch and extendcompress the bench. Both my partner and I sat on the bench while it was fully extended and it was very study. Although it was packaged pretty well, my item still came damaged on the bottom.
