This set is not an heirloom piece by any means, but for the sale price and our particular needs (light use, able to sit 6+ people without a huge footprint), we are pleased. Arrived quickly (3 days) in two large boxes delivered together. Assembly was very straightforward. The quality isn’t superb and the materials will chip/dent easily, but the pros outweigh the cons for us, especially since this set will not be used daily. It’s hard to find an uncomplicated set that has clean lines, easy to pull out chairs for dusting, and vacuuming/mopping floors underneath, while still looking quite formal and elegant. Around year five we added some extra screws to the table base, but this was probably only needed due to disassembling and reassembling the table multiple times. Only 2 issues during install: #1 they sent 7 wooden plugs fur the chairs instead of 8 and apparently you need to buy wood glue to put them in, which is no biggie, I can pick up an extra at the hardware store. #2 there were no guide marks on the bottom of the table to show where to attach the brackets. This set has been perfect for my eclectic-beachy/nautical style home, in an open space I wanted to keep dining and living visually separated without competing and also not taking up too much space. Love the expandable feature and how easy is to expand. The assembly took just a few hours but I did need help because I am not strong enough to tighten those screws all by myself! I have been using it since and so far nothing has cracked or gotten loose. I would say the boxes were heavy but I could manage and even with all the moving around, nothing arrived scratched or damaged. Special thanks to the FedEx tracking that kept me posted on the delivery so I was able to get the delivery guy to leave the boxes where it was easy for me to collect. Last thing I'd say is that the colors where exactly as shown, despite of the fact that the table and chairs were delivered in different set of boxes. I recommend the product and the seller.. Tee. FL.
