Package was shipped well and arrived without damage. The product appears to be well-made feels well constructed, and appears to be solid wood. You can tell where certain sections are joined and there’s inconsistencies in the stain. I would’ve given this product five stars, however the top of the table is not flat where the leaf insert joins. It’s a small lip where one side of the leaf joins and the finishes additionally, worn and discolored some. This table is really great value, esp. being solid wood and having the option to extend. I thought from other reviews it might feel rough or even splintery, but it definitely doesn’t to me. The finish of the table wasn’t fully what I expected, which is why I removed one star. It’s a little shiny and looks cheaper than I wanted in certain lights. The extension mechanism also works pretty well. It takes some getting used to and isn’t super smooth every time. But it works with some finagling. And of course, the white glove delivery assembly was awesome.
