Only used one time so far I think overall it will be great you must hold the the pilot light down for 5 or 6 minutes, at least to get it to light up. For me, the installation was a lot harder than I thought it would be. The unit I have is propane. Time will tell, but overall, I think its going to be great for heating up my small cabin. So far, I am very happy with the unit.. Walt. MI. Mon Oct 21 2024

We bought this heater for our approximately 325 square foot off grid cabin. We used it for the first time this last weekend with temperatures around 40 degrees, and it kept the cabin nice and warm at the second and third settings. We have not had to go to the highest setting yet. It took my husband a couple of hours to install, including one trip to the hardware store. I would highly recommend this heater.. Julie. Osceola, WI. This patented revolutionary design is the only EPA-certified and UL-listed non-electric pellet stove on the market today. The wise way is simple to start and operate. Simply heat the burn chamber and flue and start the pellet flow with a propane torch. This stove uses a natural draft that will take over and ramp the stove up to temperature. The Wiseway from US Stove eliminates the need for electricity by utilizing a natural gravity feed system that eliminates all mechanical parts meaning less maintenance and breakdowns. Adjustments are simple by opening and closing fresh air intakes on the front of the stove. The window allows you to see the flame traveling up the body of the stove. Since it uses no electricity heat is radiated off the steel baffles on the back. This stove offers extremely small clearances on the rear and sides making it easy to install. Best of all, Since it does not use any electricity this stove is the perfect source of heat for areas that are prone to blackouts or off-the-grid installations.
