This exceeded my expectations. We purchased this to store and display some of the Lego’s my son has put together over the years and to brighten up our newly finished basement. It looks so cool and the motion sensing light has the added benefit of lighting the steps into the basement without needing to go upstairs to hit the switch. It is a soft enough glow to not interrupt anyone’s need for darkness, while still illuminating the steps enough eyes to adjust to the darkness and since you can set it for motion sensing, it only remains on for a few moments. This is pretty decent quality. Not high end for sure but perfect for my game room as a display for my statues I paint. When building it, it seems unstable and wobbly but once you put the clips in the back its very solid and stable. I recommend adding self adhesive felt to the bottom of the furniture when building it. The LEDS work well but it could use another set on the second shelves of each section so I am going to add two more strips to mine. The LEDS are also at a very bright white range so I'm replacing the existing ones with 5500k temp lights that will display the colors more correctly. The only way this could be better is if it was made of real wood but then it'd cost too much. Easy instruction, easy build. I love this lighted cabinet. It was fairly easy to put together. It took me about an hour and a half and the instructions were easy to follow. It could have probably taken me less to assemble but I took my time because of the glass. I wanted to be careful and make sure it didn’t get damaged during the process. I like that the lights are still plug in and not battery operated. They are stick on so all you have to do is peel and stick. I’m hoping to use it to fill with all of my marathon medals. This came is a fairly large box that was damaged on the outside, so I was very surprised that not one piece of glass was broken. It was extremely heavy, though, so I had to unbox it on my porch and very carefully transfer the pieces to the room this was going into. You will MOST DEFINITELY need two people to assemble this. I love it, now that it's put together. I did it all alone, seamlessly until....the dang glass doors. It's not hard to figure out what to do, it's hard to physically do it! I wouldn't try it without help or you could easily end up with broken doors.. Marni. FL. Thu May 21 2026
