I've gotten two boxes of these tiles and put them together to see how I like them. So far I love them! Here's why: • They are less expensive than many other solutions. • They look very nice. • They are extremely easy to snap together (a 7-year-old kid could do it!) • No tools are necessary. • They are very lightweight; easy to move them around. I have them laid out on an uncovered patio just to try them out, and they've been there for a couple of weeks. Rain doesn't seem to bother them. (I have no idea if winter weather would damage them.) There are 27 tiles in a box, which is kind of annoying because the only thing that goes evenly into 27 is 9' x 3' which is too narrow to be very useful. (30 tiles per box would be more helpful, because there are a couple of layout options—3' x 10' or 5' x 6’.) However, two boxes total 54 tiles, which covers a 6'x9' area perfectly. The only thing I don't like is that occasionally you find a less attractive tile in the lot. Knots are to be expected; it’s real wood, and the tiles are inexpensive. But once in a while there’s a tile with too many knots, or one with a crack that was filled in with something, or is missing a small chunk of wood. However, be aware that I am super picky and I doubt most people would even notice. So I’m still giving them 5 stars. I’m attaching a couple of photos so: 1) you can see for yourself how much space two boxes will cover (I put the chair in the photo to give you a sense of scale) 2) You can see some closeups of nicer tiles and less nice tiles so you can judge for yourself. The awning is great so far. We have 12*10 size. We added this on our deck on vinyl sliding.. needed to find the stud and used ledger-lock instead of given screws ( as those can only be used in brick).. looks pretty solid, will have to see how it holds in wind.. We love this gazebo! The engineering of all of the pre drilled holes parts was 100 correct, and my husband and I were able to assemble 90 of this ourselves over a long weekend. We had to have a helper to holdstabilize the structure during the process of standing up and attaching the frame together to stand - otherwise the 2 of us were able to get this together. The lift of the roof panels requires some strength and patience, but we got it done! We improvised some strapping to hold or pull parts together at times, and that worked very well. Very sturdy structure. Completely transforms our small backyard, and we look forward to adding more seating, bar and all the comforts of a great outdoor room. Highly recommended!. Lisa.
