Overall I am happy with this comforter set. It is a good thickness. Not too heavy, not too light. I would say “chenille” stripe is not accurate. It’s more of a terry-cloth texture. I ordered the king size duvet cover in white to go on our queen size bed. The duvet cover arrived fast and was packaged very well. I specifically ordered this duvet due to its beautiful detail and because it is made of cotton. I also ordered an all weather goose down comforter to place inside of the duvet & now, it meets top quality hotel standards! The duvet is soft, light, and everything I was expecting. The duvet has multiple buttons on one side where you can open/close. I personally wish it had a zip closure instead of buttons but that’s alright.
