I absolutely LOVE this curtains! They are a great quality for the price. They look like they are silk from afar, however they feel more like a chenille fabric. This is the blue color, but I plan to purchase another color for our bedroom. A nice thick fabric so they are definitely room darkening, but a little heavy so keep that in mind with your rods.. Overall I am happy with this comforter set. It is a good thickness. Not too heavy, not too light. I would say “chenille” stripe is not accurate. It’s more of a terry-cloth texture.
