Looks just like it did in the pictures. I was worried it might appear too rustic for our living room but it does not. It was fairly easy to put together, having a second set of hands definitely helped. Thankfully, unlike the experience of some reviewers, all the the holes lined up perfectly for us. The product itself is great. It's exactly what I needed for my anxious dog. I purchased from Wayfair because of shipping options. I didn't want the product damaged during shipping. When the package arrived it was beat up. We had to repair ons of the latches. Purchasing from Wayfair was more expensive and I was disappointed in not only the state of the box but the communication from Wayfair. I will be avoiding purchasing anything from them in the future.
