Really solid door, paint finish is amazing, but it is not really very printable. It would need to be scuffed up well to take any paint, so when one side accidentally had trim applied to it and there were tiny nail holes after we removed the trim strip the painters were concerned about painting the whole door because the finish wouldn't be as good if they had to prep the whole door and eventually the paint-over could fail vs if we just kept most of the door untouched and just painted the one style to cover the small nail holes. This door requires two people to assemble, it is not a traditional one-piece barn door. Pilot holes on the door are all pre-drilled and cut. The wooden panel is able to the junction with each other for a tight fit. It is an unfinished barn door, you can easily paint it as you wish. Please leave the door dry for at least 33 hours. The barn door will work perfectly with our sliding barn door hardware kit and door handles. The bottom of the door had a pre-cut groove to fit with the floor guide that prevents the door from swinging back and forth.
