Never thought a drawer organizer could look so good and make me so very happy!! This 55 knife organizer is HUGE and VERY heavy!! It’s solid maple and smooth! Must have a light lacquer or something rubbed into the wood I think. It’s way past superbly made! My sweetie said it was easy to trim down to fit my drawers. I’m having my kitchen countertops and backsplash done for first time in my life, and these rev-a-shelf maple organizers are PERFECT!! I did have to turn this knife organizer sideways so it would fit (and not have make 2 cuts and not to have a knife slot cut off) but I actually prefer it sideways, as it makes it easier to grab the knives. My drawers are standard size (about 18-3/4 deep x 17-1/4 wide x 3-1/4” high). My sweetie trimmed the end off perfectly, and it doesn’t slide around at ALL! It looks like a custom built, fancy drawer! Even with the difference of 1/4” on the depth, (my drawers are 18-3/4 deep and knife organizer was 18-1/2” with the way I put this knife organizer in sideways), it doesn’t slide from front to back at all because it fits like a glove from side to side! Also I can’t even see the little tiny 1/4” space as it is at the very back of my drawer. It was worth every penny I paid! Thanks to wayfair for having such a great product and for all the superb service I get from Wayfair! I’m attaching pics to hopefully help someone else in making up their minds.
