The cabinet itself looks really good and is good quality overall. And I would've left a 4 star rating IF I didn't have to try out so many trash bins to find out that the listed dimensions are not accurate and it does not fit a 20 inch tall trash bin. I've tried multiple 10 gallon trash bins that list 20 inch as their height and the do not fit this cabinet. Great little cabinet, took off a star because it came very damaged and the tilt out trash side doesn’t line up straight and it’s not the sturdiest thing in the world. I did take a partial refund to keep it so it could be because of the damaged pieces. If you’re having the issue where you don’t think your screws are long enough you need to flip the 7 or 8 pieces around. It looks nice and was not difficult to assemble. I love the concept of this trash can, it keeps trash hidden and the drawers are great for storing trash bags however I have not been able to find plastic trash cans to fit it. Trash cans need to be no more than 10” deep, 14” wide and 20 12” tall. Would appreciate input on where to purchase that size. Also, it would be nice if the trash can could somehow be attached to the cabinet when opening it. There is about a 2” gap which allows trash to fall in between the trash can and the cabinet door. Not bad. It took me 2.5 hours to put together alone. If I had someone else help me it would’ve easily been half the time. The finish has a sheen to it, which is nice. I opted to not use the deodorizer function because I do not have an outlet nearby, so I removed that piece that would’ve held it in place. I replaced the hardware, set marble slabs on top, and so far I like how it came out. It feels sturdy and I think it looks nice overall. Two things: the drawers catch and get stuck a bit when you pull them out and the cabinet doors don’t sit flush to the frame. But for the price, I can deal with it.. Laura. Brooklyn, NY. Looks good. Friends came over and loved it! My husband and I have put together furniture many times before - this was a challenge! Took about 3 hours. We mistakenly put the base on backwards but I’m ok with that - less dirt to get under. We didn’t have the electric screwdriver - that would’ve made it easier but we would’ve had to be careful not to break the wood - it says that on the directions. Then you have the additional drawers to put your trash bags and whatever else you want. The drawers are nice. The trash cans you put in are not large but I think that is a good thing so you dont have your trash sitting for days ..you will empty it more often. This looks like the perfect trash bin cabinet and I really was excited to get it! The box arrived in perfect condition. As we pulled out the materials to build it, we could tell they were not very high quality, so we took our time putting it together, trying to be as careful as we could. Unfortunately, one of the wooden pegs, with barely any pressure, broke through the top of the cabinet and made an awful chip that is very noticeable. And the supporting board for the drawer broke in two, I am still not sure how that happened so easily. Unfortunately, this is not worth it. Even completely put together, it sways from side to side unless you prop it next to something sturdier. So disappointed, I wanted to love this. We have had many good purchases through Wayfair, but this is not one of them. I am thankful for the good customer service Wayfair always provides, which makes me more likely to keep shopping here.
