Arrived undamaged. Looks much bigger in person. Will look great on a tall ceiling in a large room. Color is dark and rich.....looks very expensive while still having that vintage feel! Man oh man, what a BEAUTY!! Even left off, it is, like, artwork. The light is dimmable, both fans are whisper-quiet even when the 360-degree turning option is on and I couldnt be more pleased. This is actually my second purchase of this exact item. I used it so much over the years that the motor finally went caput. Thank the Lord it is still being made. Im not sure if the fan cage can be opened for dusting but with a treasure like this in my house, who cares, right Whoever designed this item, well, I hope they got a hunky-chunky pay raise.
