Oushak rugs are the most popular and one of the oldest traditional rugs. Oushak (Usak) rugs use a particular family of designs, called by the convention after the city of Ushak, Turkey. Oushak rugs are known for the silky, luminous wool they work with. The dyes tend towards cinnamon, terracotta tints, gold, blues, greens, ivory, saffron, and grays. The soft wool is obtained from the chest of a lamb where it's softer because of the minimal sun exposure. The fairly larger knots used in this type of rug enable larger patterns on the rug which is a designer's delight. Most of the dyes are obtained from natural vegetables because of the lighter colors used in these rugs.

This hot plate is very well designed and easy to use. My only complaint is that it has a noisy fan that runs constantly. I believe that this is a characteristic of all portable countertop induction hot plates. If I had known this then I would not have ordered this type of hot plate. It does heat very quickly but for me the noise is a deal breaker. A built-in induction cooktop installed in a countertop probably has a cooling fan too but the noise is confined within the cabinet below and not noticeable.. Lee. This cooktop heats fast and holds temperature nicely. Overall materials seem to be high quality, and all functions as advertised. Overall, this is a nice product. I have two issues with the cooktop. First, the aluminum front edge looks nice, at first. It is soft and easily scratched by moving pans over its surface. Even clean smooth bottom pans can and will scratch the surface. Ours looked well used after the first 30 days. Too bad for such a nice cooktop. Second, the controls are not intuitive. You must turn on the burner by touching the symbol, but the temperature controls are only in the center symbol. Everyone who uses this cooktop tries to adjust the burner on the symbol for that burner. How hard would it have been to put a temperature switch in each symbol? You could have turned on the burner and adjusted the temperature in one motion. Note, these are minor annoyances, and should not detract from a very good product at a value price.. decapod. FABULOUS Double burner. Quality made. Heats very quickly. While many may use this in addition to their regular stove when entertaining, I am using it as my main stove all the time and highly recommend it as such. Since I mainly roast ,bake and cook casseroles and meals in my large, counter ,convection oven,and don’t cook on regular stovetop that often because it is older and not heating quickly, I don’t intend to replace my older stove and will use this double burner, instead ,for anything I need to cook in a pot. I am VERY happy with it. ..and an extra plus is no more having to struggle to remove drippings from down inside the grates and pans of regular stove. Because the large Burner does heat fast, experiment with lower settings , first, for foods you usually cook on it.
