Everything they claim plus more!I was looking for the best underlayment product money can buy and found this product. It had been recommended by a friend that used it and a professional installer also insisted upon it. I also took the time to read the reviews and I called the factory for additional information. I had a previous 1000 square foot carpeted cement floor and the carpet needed replacement. we liked the look of vinyl but knew we would need a good underlayment. ECF is that product and more. Waterproof with a vapor barrier, cushioning effect but not spongy. The easiest product to ever put down. Lays flat. a unique way of attaching to each other making for a perfect fit and easy to cut and shape where shaping is needed. It seems a bit pricey but consider the long term use it provides it is really not meaningful. Having the best underlayment is the most important consideration when putting down any flooring. So far so good, they appear to be as shown on the site. The boxes, (x3) were not heavy. They appear to be thick. I will have a better feel for them once they are down, and the floors have been installed. My nephew absolutely swears by them and he installs floors. This is a chemical starter kit that can be used in any hot tub. Well, it's definitely a 'start-up' kit! Enough to get the spa up and running but be prepared to purchase chemicals fairly soon for maintenance! Also, there are instructions to correct certain water conditions but no products(s) supplied to do so. Low alkalinity water was the first one that comes to mind. Overall the kit will get you going but that's about it. Also, the quantities of chemicals in the kit that are supplied makes the kit quite pricey when compared to the chemical quantities/prices when purchased at a retail level. The problem is the average purchaser is not aware of what is needed but that can be addressed if one downloads and studies the owner's manual prior to purchase.
