UPDATE (12026) after 5 12 yrs. it just stopped working. Worse is there is zero help offered. The instructions that came with the frame for a different bed frame completely. I spend a lot of time in my room and needed to replace my mattress anyway so an adjustable frame sounded perfect. Although the box was heavy unboxing and assembly couldn’t have been easier. We bought this for our 7-year-old daughter, and so far it’s been great. I’m giving it four stars because it’s not perfect. I’m not entirely sure what “noise free” in the title is referring to, since it does make some noise — which is understandable — but it’s not completely silent. That said, I would still recommend it. The height is ideal — not overly tall like the one we purchased from another site for our 11-year-old son. This one allows me to stand relatively close to my daughter while she’s lying down, and it’s not so close to the ceiling that she can’t sit up without hitting her head (we have 9ish-foot ceilings). Overall we are happy with this full size loft bed. Once set up it was still quite wobbly, not that it was unsafe, but it didn’t feel good how much it moved every time our son moved on the bed. It came with two flimsily feeling brackets. They roundly even reach the wall because of the baseboard. I found some braces online that I was able to put directly into studs.
