Loveeeee this set! They are beautiful! If you have trouble with it “losing” its shine (inside) or tarnished its not (look at my photos). You have to treat this set like you treat a cast iron skillet “season” the pans after use. After a good hand wash dry the pans with a soft cloth, then dab a few drops olive oil (or oil if your choice) wipe the inside of each pan (you are coating the oil in the pan) and wah lah they are perfect again! Great looking pan set I ordered two different sets one in mat and one in shiny out side metal. I find using a generous amount of oil in the pans helps since the insides have ridges easy clean up after the pans cool off and soak in water for a tiny bit wipes right out. I chose the 14 Piece Stainless Steel (1810) Cookware Set because I needed to retire an old set of temporary pans. I really wanted All Clad, but the sticker price shock for a set is a bit much for most of us. But then I found these triply beauties by Tramontina. there was another set by Cuisinart and i was torn be which one to get. Now these stil dont compare to to the All Clad, but they came very close. Key difference is the thumb indent on the handle - critical when you use an oven glove and trying to pour, the smooth handle can slip and overturn while in your glove causeing a loss of control. the other thing is the glass lids, the tempered glass is only oven rated to 350 degrees, steel lids are oven rated to 500 degrees (although you cant see through steel lids). All that is totally fine for me because i have dedicated ovenware. For a fraction of the price, I feel incredibly comfortable with my purchase, and i want to recommend this set to anyone who is interested in purchasing a stainless steel fully clad cookware set.. I was excited when we received the set. I have to admit it took some getting used to, cooking with these is a bit different than cooking with the nonstick pans we normally have. I would recommend seasoning the pans before using, it helps to avoid sticking. This cookware is everything. I had been contemplating buying new cookware for 6 months. When it comes to cookware, I prefer to go big, meaning quality instead of throw away cookware that doesn't hold up for more than a few months. I did some research and ran across these as they were on sale at a store I won't name. To get more info I googled Cuisanart vs Tramontina and learned that this cookware is preferred by chefs as they hold up with a lot of cooking. I must say when I opened the box I was sure I had made the right choice. They are beautiful mirror like finish and the weight of the smallest pot really surprised me. I gave the large fry pan a test run for breakfast and it washed up really nicely. I would recommend these all day. I was blessed to get the 10 pc during black Friday month and I am elated at the price I paid compared to the regular price of this set. I pray these live up to their expectations but I not really concerned as they have a really good reputation.
