These lights come packaged better then any box store lights on the market...important because the glass(s) are thick and heavy and are very good quality. We have set the colors in many different patterns as well as all solid and have the rainbow function set now and this setting is very fun...each light changes colors randomly. They are brightest when set to the white but the option of changing colors sure adds to our outdoor decor. They come with a remote control to set the color and we have experienced no trouble using the remote to change the lights color from about 2 or 3 feet away. Very happy with this purchase. These are NOT those cheesy little yard lights that you buy from a box store and replace every year. These are the real deal. Real metal and glass, and heavy duty ground spikes makes a big difference. I’ve ordered these twice already. I love them. They go through the winter with no problem. I never take them out of the ground. They give a moderate amount of light, enough to be able to see what you’re doing, but not enough to bother the neighbors at night. If you have a light that doesn’t work, remember you have to activate the switch in the back. I even have some in shady areas but they collect enough indirect sun to shine at night. They look great in flower pots and really cool against black mulch and ground cover plants. I don’t care for the lights on a post. I ordered the LED path lights and they arrived in its original packaging, so no surprise as to what it is.   They are pretty neat!  On the backside of the light is a switch to make them colorful or just white.  Each one will go through a series of color if you choose that option.  They have way too many shades of colors to even count them.  The post for the light and the “stake” are pretty tight fitting which makes it nice so they don’t just fall off.  I would suggest using a rubber mallet to place the stake first and then attach the rest (if your ground is hard).  It is still plastic so care needs to be taken while placing in the ground.   The only thing I wish different, would be a way to make one of the colors stay lit but even with the ever-changing colors it does make a nice visual calming effect in the yard.  The package has 8 LED solar pathway lights, so arranging them throughout your yard or in planters makes it easy to add color here or there to your liking.  They are not too bright but enough to lighten a pathway or just adding accent lighting to your landscape.    I am going to leave them on the white lighting until the holidays and then switch it over to the colorful setting.  That is just a wonderful option to have!  Pictures are inside and upside down to attempt at getting the show of possible colors. Very easy to put together my four year old Grandson helped. They are nice and sturdy. The only negative thing is they have an on off switch. I was hoping they came on by themselves.
