These chairs would probably be 1000 each in a furniture store, we paid less than that with tax for 2. They are heavy ( I wouldnt want to carry them upstairs - they come in 1 box) and feel like quality. My husband is 62 and 275 lbs . He can lean backrecline and the chair is stable. He likes the chairs as much as I do. The chair backs are a good height from the seat. Allowing you to rest your head to take the pressure off your neck. The chair and ottoman are and look very nice. It only took 3 days for delivery, which was nice. It was fairly easy to put together, took about 30-40 minutes. The color is more almond/cream in color than the advertised ivory. The chair sits much lower to the floor than I thought it would. Much lower than our previous recliner chair - so be aware. When I purchased this chair and ottoman it was on sale, a very good price for this product. After receiving the chair and ottoman, I now wish I had purchased two. After the shock of the number of pieces that had to be assembled, we were actually able get this chair together in less than 30 min. The chair is lovely, the leather and red color are very nice.
