A great alternative to the expensive 'hardware store' crib. My only complaint is that the mattress platform is deep black, even on the white crib. This can be covered with a crib skirt, of course, but the four metal diagonal posts that attach the mattress platform to the crib are *also* black, and even with a crib skirt and sheets on the mattress, these black posts are exposed and stick out like a sore thumb against the white. I bought this dresser along with the Lomita 2-Drawer Nightstand. This dresser is very sturdy, doesn't feel like it is going to tip over. It was also super easy to put together. Basically already comes assembled, you just have to screw in the legs. My only critique would be that the drawers stick when opening and closing. Hopefully this will be smoother over time, but right now they get stuck on the track and take a little extra push to shut. The drawers also don't automatically stay flush when closed.. Amish.
