We bought this Cat Enclosure because we can not let our cats roam around outside where we live. It took a while to get this cat enclosure assembled but the directions were pretty clear and almost all the parts were labeled. The parts that were not labeled were pretty easy to figure out what they were. There were many different sizes of bolts and screws but all the bolts used the same locking nuts. The assembly job would have been a lot easier if two people were to do it and I would definitely recommend doing the assembly with two people. Well see how they like being in it. Great catio but takes forever to put together. Had a very strong smell when we took the various parts out of the box but the smell has gone away now that we've placed it outside. In the yard, I could have staked it, but on the deck, I'm using landscape bricks at the four corners - my patio table with an umbrella has blown away in high winds. But the roof is easy to remove if I know strong winds are coming. I think it's plenty sturdy, it should last years compared to the cat tents we've gone through. We are extremely pleased with the cat villa. It was not difficult to assemble; pre-drilled holes were accurately placed, all parts were present and the instructions were clear and thorough. The villa is made out of solid wood and the glass doors hang perfectly. There are multiple levels which are easy for the cats to navigate. I have two cats that use it. One cat is 17 lbs and the other is 10 lbs. They each have a fluffy pad on two of the levels to sleep on. I have placed a full size litter box with high sides on the lowest level. A bowl each of water and dry food are on the platforms. My cats are still getting used to the new routine of spending time in the villa but neither are stressed by being in it and usually are asleep in a short time.
