I keep this next to my back door because we have a lot of traffic from outside into the kitchen area due to our three children and there three puppies. We tend to get a lot of sand tracked in and despite having a roomba I needed something to try to help me keep up with the sand. It is very convenient having something to just quickly sweep it all into. Haven’t needed to empty it yet and it’s been about 3wks thus far. I just love this vacuum. It cleans up the mess very quickly especially when you have three cats. I have lower back pain when I lower my back to clean my stairs and especially when I carry a regular vacuum which so heavy on my back…can not do it. Lovely duel chamber trash can. The lids are quiet & quick to open with the foot pedal, & they lower slowly & silently. The soft finish on the bronze exterior looks great while also being "fingerprint-free." One thing to note is that the custom fit Songmic trash bags don't fit this model as well as generic non-branded trash bags. If you want the lift handle for the removable trash can to be outside the trash bag/acessible, then using the Songmics trash bag means the lid to the trash will be left ajar. If you choose to cover the lift handle with the Songmics trash bag, then the trash can lid is left just slightly raised. I like it! Not as good quality as my first one. The complaint that I have is that they put a sticker on the trash can that needs to be removed to use and the sticky stuff is still on the trash can and hard to remove which messes up the look!
