This set is not an heirloom piece by any means, but for the sale price and our particular needs (light use, able to sit 6+ people without a huge footprint), we are pleased. Arrived quickly (3 days) in two large boxes delivered together. Assembly was very straightforward. The quality isn’t superb and the materials will chip/dent easily, but the pros outweigh the cons for us, especially since this set will not be used daily. It’s hard to find an uncomplicated set that has clean lines, easy to pull out chairs for dusting, and vacuuming/mopping floors underneath, while still looking quite formal and elegant. The table and chairs are good to great. We also got the matching side table and they make a handsome pair. The solid wood feels…solid. Chairs are comfy and seem hardy. Note, I’m not judging the review on the issues I had with damage (maybe I should?), because those were remedied by Wayfair in a reasonable way with replacements and partial refunds. For the record, first table had screws coming through the table top and a chair was broken during “enhanced delivery” assembly. Second table had a support rail underneath broken off.. Anonymous.
