I will have to say that for the price, the materials could have been more substantial . The locking mechanisms were cheaply put in and we had to purchase longer screws and washers. I bought this Joola table top for the family. I figured they would enjoy it. Well I was right. Especially my 10 yr old daughter. When a kid would rather play with this than be in front of a screen, you know youve done something right. And the quality is nice. Its well made. I suggest getting ROOM OF CHOICE DELIVERY as it is a bit heavy and awkward carrying downstairs to a basement for example. And you will need two people to put it together and or take it apart. Just received the table this week. Overall I love it. It arrived in 2 large boxes. It is very heavy if you are not paying for the service to assemble it you will definitely need help. The dining tabletop is 2 pieces and on the underside is the ping pong side. If you intend to use the table as a dining table when not playing pool or ping pong I would recommend using a waterproof tablecloth because if liquid spills on the tabletop it could drip in between where the 2 sheets intersect and stain the felt of the pool table. You do need to be careful with the wood veneer it seems like it scuffs easily. The assembly is easy but again the table is very solid and heavy you will need at least 4 people to move it, the instructions recommend 6 people. The pool table and ping pong is a nice size for both kids and adults. The benches are very sturdy and will hold all of the accessories even the cue sticks fully assembled. I was thrilled with this table. I bought this table after much pondering for an Airbnb game room with a space that was too small for a larger game table. I am female and 49 years old. I am handy with a screwdriver and fought with my husband to get this table (he thought it would not be used or appreciated). This table took me two and half hours to put together, which I did while I watched a movie. Every hole was predrilled and perfectly aligned. Every part and tool was supplied. I appreciated the care of packaging and pre-drilling. The only thing I needed a second person for was the very last step to lift the table safely up onto the supports. I LOVE what this table does for my family and guests. Teens, persons just turning 21, and kids under 10, all hung out at the table all weekend. The kids were OFF their phones. This has never happened in our family. The kids laughed and talked to each other. The table was the magic catalyst for all ages to connect. My husband rescinded his criticism of my decision to buy this "unnecessary cost". For the most part, a high quality piece (for the price). You will want to buy different ping pong paddles and pool cues--both were very cheaply made. The cushions on the benches were very comfortable. Eventually, we will probably add a layer of Formica to the table top to make it more durable, but for now, I just cover with plastic And a tablecloth. Agree with other reviewers the stain color of the melamine is much darker than it appears in the pictures.
