Definitely a nice touch to the backyard. We didnt want to spend alot of money buying a new fence. So we took a chance at the privacy screen. Have to say Im really impressed. Zip ties are included which was a plus. It can be stretch a little so that was also a plus. The only thing Im a little concern about, is how easy you can poke a whole in it. Bought this gray 8’x 50’ size panel to give us privacy as there is a seasonal campground in our back yard. Wooden fencing would have cost us 4times as much and the installation would have taken days. Two adults built this in less than 2 hours and boy, does it work. Time will tell how it hold up in windstorms but we had immediate privacy. Amazing! This fence is so beautiful in real life! Although not needed, I decided to protect mine by sealing/staining it with a transparent stainer (see pics) after speaking with the Enclo's customer service. Rustic split bamboo slat fences have been used for centuries in many regions of the world where bamboo is available. It's definitely more see-through than I would've liked, but it does the job in terms of giving you a decent amount of privacy. The quality is okay, not great...some of the reeds are broken on some ends, and some of the dark parts make it look like the wood is rotting. Lastly, for stability, you do need something to tie it to; for both apartments, ours has been against concrete slabs, so we end up leaving it at an angle and then putting something heavy against the base on both ends to keep it up. For context, the first three pictures are from the initial apartment I used it at right after we bought it; the last picture is after nearly 1.5 years and a move to a new apartment.
