I didn’t need the item but i was still charged a return fee. The instructions on the gate I purchased recommended this item. I felt that I shouldn’t have a fee deducted since it was highly recommend that I needed it for the project. Another similar product was included in the purchase. Couldn’t decide four or five stars because I do like it way more then the latch that came with the gate. My only real complaint is that the black paint ran and stained the newly painted white gate which I will have to touch up in the spring. But it did look really good when we first put it on.
