The shower base and wall kit look beautiful. The corner piece had a foot rest to help shave those legs!! The only issue is that if you are planning on putting in a shower panel, the panel needs to sit flat against the wall and the shower walls have vertical raised lines which will prevent the panel from laying flat. Luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skilled saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Locktite PowerGrab Ultimate adhesive or Boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel's outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

I'm a little disappointed because I had assumed that the area under the seat was open and you could maybe shove extra bottles of shampoo or whatnot under there, but you only get about two inches and then it's closed off. Kindof seems like a waste of space that could have been put to use. For installation: The bottom is flat and sturdy, but the front edge overhangs 2" so you have to put 2" high lumps of mortar under it to level it. Haven't installed yet but this sounds like a bit of a hassle so we'll see how it goes. I was only expecting to need a bit of spray foam or a thin mortar bed. Otherwise, seems to be of good quality..
