I initially gave this tile 5 starts, it is beautiful. Unfortunately the tile keeps cracking in my master shower. After doing research it looks like you shouldn't use large glass tile in a shower because of the stress on the large glass tile. It seems to be that small glass tile is OK but this tile has now cracked for the 5th time. Always where plumbing fixtures are and the last time the plumber only tightened the fixtures enough so that he could then add a silicone seal around the fixture. It cracked again!. Susan. I wasn’t sure… color can be so dramatically affected by light especially glass tile. Even with the range of colors that this lavender takes on with sunlight and reflections, I think my gamble worked. After searching everywhere for unique kitchen backsplash tile I found this. There are 3 options to choose from I choses "Shimmer" for the kitchen because it has a grey/silver tone. In the evenings with under mount cabinet lights it is fantastic! I liked it so much I ordered the other 2 options just to see what they look like and have a picture of all 3 together.
