We have a "Florida basement" storage room in our modern organic coastal home that needed a light. This was perfect, nice (not cheap) quality and a little fun. When lit, the warm brown weave creates a neat little pattern across the ceiling. As some have mentioned, you will need to be directly under the fan to feel it but it does move air surprisingly well. This fan is so stylish. I used it in my office studio and it provides a nice amount of air flow. I have a Bright white bulbs in it so that I can see when I work on projects. I love it! I live in an attic appartment and it actually does help circulate the air. It can be turned up extremely bright and has different hues. I love that it is pretty much plug and play type. Very simple to connect, looks nice and has many options. It's cool tht there is a holder for the remote. Now to decide the best place to hang it. No lost remote. The 20" is nice for the bedroom.
