I purchased the table to add a few extra seats to my dining room table when we have family dinners. It's sturdy and almost the perfect size. The only negative aspect of it is that it is heavy and the metal skirt is a bit flexible, so if you try to carry it by the skirt, it flexes and pulls the screws out of the tabletop which is a laminate particle board..
