I purchased the table to add a few extra seats to my dining room table when we have family dinners. It's sturdy and almost the perfect size. The only negative aspect of it is that it is heavy and the metal skirt is a bit flexible, so if you try to carry it by the skirt, it flexes and pulls the screws out of the tabletop which is a laminate particle board.. I purchased this as my project table that I can stow away when I am done, as I dont have too to leave a table up indefinitely. I am showing the legs to indicate this can be opened by one person. I have advanced arthritis in my hands, so it is pretty uncomfortable, but it can be done. Press the knobs on either side so the metal can slide, then step on the metal bar between the legs and pull your body upwards while continuing to depress the metal buttons. Overall I am happy with the table and it is not as heavy as I expected. It stays mostly flat, and it has that carrying handle shown in the picture. It will serve my purposes just fine.. Chelsea F.
