These are a great but different flatware 5 piece set, the quality is amazing, and just the feel of the stemware is so different. The knife stem is flat on one side that allows the knife to stand up when place setting. I showed in pictures how it looks, and also how they put the logo stamp on the different pieces, these also shine like I have never seen silverware do, these are definitely worth the money,. Holly. I got this due to other people reviews, I found a set in open box so I figured why not try them. They have a nice weight to them, and when they are freshly washed and dried which I hand wash everything, they look pretty shiny, I took a bunch of pictures for you to see and can tell for yourself, if you think they are as shiny as others said or if they are just a good pair of flatware, I have another set by this company Fortessa , which I am very happy with and both 3 sets, they are very different and I am very happy with those as well,. Love the look and substance of these. Overall very pleased. I find that the bottom edge of the utensil digs into my palm a bit which gets uncomfortable after a while (nit picking, I know. ) Washing in dishwasher can leave watermarks. Washing instructions provided are impractical and kind of funny really: soak in water of specific temperature, then dishwasher, then rinse, then dry or something along those lines..
