I really like this mattress! Perfect size for our new crib we also got on Wayfair. It arrived rolled up. I let it expand in the crib through an extended weekend. The infant side is hard enough for safety, but still is soft to touch. There is a tag on the side so you know which side is the infant or toddler. Overall, this is a quality mattress. So I had a small folding crib but the mattress that came with it was very thin and really did not have any type of cushion and it was slippery so my baby was constantly sliding and would not take a nap. So I ordered this mini crib mattress and all I can say is wow very thick it gives my baby plenty of support and he can’t lift it up like he did with the other one. The very first day he was able to take his nap and slept for 2 hours that I had to wake him up. If anyone is second guessing themselves don’t it’s worth it and it made with an easy to clean material just use a little soap and water and dry. It my favorite purchase for my little messy baby.. Free of harmful chemicals and a breathable fabric the most important things! It’s definitely not like the other crib mattress with a vinyl cover this is a soft cover with no smell to it and safer for your baby free of chemicals. Unlike a vinyl cover this is breathable and won’t be hot in the summer for your baby. I’m impressed with the zip off cover that you can takeoff and wash to keep it fresh.I’d like the fact that this cover soft. One side of the mattress is perfect for the baby crib it is firmer. The other side is softer for use in a toddler bed. This is well worth the money spent. When purchasing a baby mattress ask yourself would you like to sleep on some hard vinyl I think not. We actually bought this crib mattress for our dog crate. They have shredded every dog bed weve bought them. But this one fits snug down in the crate and they love it! We flipped it to the softer side , because their big dogs we want to have something nice and soft for their hips. What a great crib mattress! I am very impressed with the quality! This is my 4th baby and by far the nicest mattress we’ve had. I love how one side is for infants and the other is for toddlers. You can press on each side and definitely feel the difference.... firmer on infant side and cushier on toddler side.
