Looks great. I think it needs painted. Installing it Monday. The contractor installed and it looks great. Painter filled in pits and holes from concrete and gave it a semi glossy white paint coat. I’m very impressed with how this turned out. It was a lot of pieces to put together but looks great in the end. I got the blue color and love how it looks. The color changing options on the fireplace are fun to play around with. I’m a little disappointed in the heat feature. Thought it would heat up my living room better than it does. I also read some complaints about a smell. I do notice a slight smell to it but I think it’s just because it is new. It’s also very mild and doesn’t bother me at all. I received the Mantel after few weeks of delay. I was happy with the item color and the smooth texture; however, I noticed that the material edges are fragile and can easily chip and break. I was impressed with the packing. It arrived at my doorstep in a single wooden crate with all the pieces securely packed. I highly recommend using gloved in handling the Mantel pieces. The fiberglass backing is very sharp and can cause lots of pain and glass splinters on hands and fingers.
