This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. I used a soft upholstry fabric and also laid batting on the broad surfaces. The mechanism works great and does not shut unless you pull it down. The corner where the sideboards and the headboard connect have two bolts. The instructions implye that they should be at the same level, such that the corner adapter can slide in hand fasten them together .However they were not. 2) one of the groves on the metal frame could not geip the screw provided. I’m really happy with this bed frame so far. The setup was straightforward, and all the parts arrived well-packaged with clear instructions, which made the process much easier than expected. (2 Person job) The frame itself feels sturdy and well-made...no squeaking or shifting once it’s assembled.
