Don't be in a hurry to assemble this bed. It comes with hundreds of parts, literally. It took me 2 hours to do just the top part of the bed; I still need to do the trundle. Once it's done, the bed is cute. I won't hold heavier adults as it seems a little flimsy. Also, in my opinion, it wouldn't work for rambunctious children that would be jumping on the bed. The bars (shown in photos) are not solid and are stabilized with plastic fittings. The color I ordered, blue, comes darker than is shown in the add for this product.
