This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. This is NOT an off brand adjustable bed frame, it’s made by Mlily who make quality bed frames. It uses two whisper quiet lift motors, a name brand controller module, four earth shaking vibration motors and a heavy duty frame. We purchased two king bed frames and both had FOUR position legs(3” each) and a LIGHTED remote control(see images). You will easily pay twice the price for a comparable bed frame anywhere else with the same features. My wife and I(58 and 60yo) were able to separate the two king bed frame sections at the three hinge points with a metric ratchet and wrench and unplug three quick disconnects in order to half the weight to 100lbs each and bring them up a flight of stairs, then reconnect everything on the second floor, this process saved our backs and cost us an extra fifteen minutes tops. Installation was super simple and the remote was already paired to the frame. I did do this partly by myself and that was easy up until adding the side panels to the headboard and then my husband let me use his tools instead of the tiny little "L" thing they include with the kit. It arrived in 2 weeks after purchase. Well packed and efficiently delivered. No damages. I took off a star because of a few issues 1) the assembly instructions are inconsistent. The corner where the sideboards and the headboard connect have two bolts. The instructions implye that they should be at the same level, such that the corner adapter can slide in hand fasten them together .However they were not. 2) one of the groves on the metal frame could not geip the screw provided. Wow! Apologies for not staging the bed better for these photos, but the bed is exactly as pictured, it’s solid, it sits up high, and the storage underneath is amazing. This is in my son‘s room and we were a little worried about the hydraulic system if he were to get into it, but you need to be taller and stronger to lift it up as soon as you put the initial pressure on the lift, it comes right up easily. Closing the hydraulic lift is the same process… You give it quite a bit of a push before it smoothly goes down.
