This is for an adjustable bed. We had a regular white farmhouse style wooden king bed with headboard, foot board and side rails. The adjustable bed fit right inside it. No Problem. My husband wanted a new tufted headboard. Now without side rails and a footboard that didn't match we needed a way to attach this new headboard. We for an additional $100 from the bed company you can get compatible hook ups for just a headboard. So, since I did not want to spend an additional $100, I decided we could mount it to the wall instead. $25 for a cabinet/headboard mounting cleat did the trick. So, it worked out. Be aware of this if you want just a headboard for your adjustable bed. The headboard itself is really nice, and the color matches a bench and chairs we have in the room. DONT BUY THIS. I will explain why- Hi everyone, Im really sad to have had to make this update because I originally LOVED my mattress, but it appears that after just 2 months of having it, we got a new bed frame and went to assemble it. Upon lifting the mattress the entire underneath has MOLDED beyond saving. Its contaminated through the entire bottom section of the mattress. This is more than unfortunate because obviously the age of the mattress should not reflect my review. For preface this mattress was not around water, wasnt left inside the box longer than allowed for, was delivered under a shaded porch, we have never experienced any house leaks and our floor remains untouched. THIS WAS SOLELY SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE MATTRESS. Im going to upload pictures for an update but needless to say I am DISGUSTED and that is genuinely what I have to say have for this experience. Do better Wayfair. IGNORE PAST REVIEW This mattress is AMAZING! I was super skeptical at first when buying a mattress without testing it first, but this bed is the best mattress I’ve ever owned. Comparable to my parents mattress that they spent thousands on for a fraction of the price. This mattress is definitely a firm mattress, but not a hard mattress. It cradles you with the memory foam support, but doesn’t break move or bend, and there’s absolutely none of that dipping you get when two people lay on it at the same time. It gives just enough squish, but not a lack of support. It fluffed up fully within a day and started to expand evenly the second I opened it. Great head board. Simple and classy, but not overly so. Was easy to assemble. I did most of the assembling, then my boyfriend came behind me and mounted it to the bed frame.
