I have had other similar beds where the drawers are made of plastic. I am glad that I paid someone to install it because it took a pro more than an hour. This new bedframe is ok. Baskets in big drawers could be a little larger. And Im not sure why the small drawers at the foot of the bed dont have wooden fronts panels, and it's difficult to keep mattress on frame. It slids sideways when you sit on or try to make the bed.
