I would give this 5 stars for the quality and the fact that, unlike wood, it doesn't require maintenance. However, I have to discount the rating based on the tough time we had putting it together. The item had to be assembled, and there were pilot holes for screws. Unfortunately, they didn't line up properly. We're contractors, so we were able to figure out the problem and had the right tools to be able to complete the assembly. The average homeowner would have been stymied. That said, the chairs were still far, far cheaper than what the local places were charging. So even if you paid someone to assemble them, it's still a good deal. And we like them a lot.. Linda. I LOVE all Polywood products because they are environmentally friendly recycled plastic and indestructible--and these rockers are no exception. I have a pair of them in black that we keep on an open deck at our cabin. They are comfortable and never show any signs of wear, even though they are out in the elements: no fading, no cracking, no chipping, no nothing. They can go through a snowstorm and still look as good as the day they were made.
