So I had a small folding crib but the mattress that came with it was very thin and really did not have any type of cushion and it was slippery so my baby was constantly sliding and would not take a nap. So I ordered this mini crib mattress and all I can say is wow very thick it gives my baby plenty of support and he can’t lift it up like he did with the other one. The very first day he was able to take his nap and slept for 2 hours that I had to wake him up. If anyone is second guessing themselves don’t it’s worth it and it made with an easy to clean material just use a little soap and water and dry. It my favorite purchase for my little messy baby.. Free of harmful chemicals and a breathable fabric the most important things! It’s definitely not like the other crib mattress with a vinyl cover this is a soft cover with no smell to it and safer for your baby free of chemicals. Unlike a vinyl cover this is breathable and won’t be hot in the summer for your baby. I’m impressed with the zip off cover that you can takeoff and wash to keep it fresh.I’d like the fact that this cover soft. One side of the mattress is perfect for the baby crib it is firmer. The other side is softer for use in a toddler bed. This is well worth the money spent. When purchasing a baby mattress ask yourself would you like to sleep on some hard vinyl I think not.
