This is a strong well made bunk bed. I wish they put extra screws though becase a few broke and I had to improvise. My boys love it and that was the dream. It is a build so prepare, it took about 6 hours to complete it looks great. This bed took 6 or 7 days to come in, when it was delivered some pieces of the cardboard were broken, but it didn’t really change anything. There are a few scratches on the bed, honestly I can’t do anything about it so it’s useless worrying about it.me and my sisters built this bed in the span of 10 hours. We were stuck of a few parts which is normal I guess, overall it was simple looking back at it. It’s very sturdy and strong, we got full over fully, only reason why I’m giving it a 4 out of 5 stars is simply because of the delivery and a few scratches on the bed, that’s only fair. Everything else is great. Beds very sturdy like I said, and walnut is a gorgeous color! I selpent some time looking for the perfect bunk for me and my lil sis. I'm happy with the bunk bed. But my kids are ecstatic. They were celebrating it for like 30 minutes. And the best part is they sleep better now. Putting it together was as difficult as advertised and due to my fitness level, I was sore for days after. The instructions were thorough, though could have been better as some steps could be merged with later ones to make the construction easier to accomplish. And the slats portion could be improved significantly as some were shorter than others. Those steps also didn't convey that the position of each wasn't fixed. So I had to measure the bed frame and put marks down to ensure I did it evenly. I would have expected markings on the frame to indicate where the slats would go. We got this bunk bed with storage for our kids, and it has been a total game changer for their room. The biggest issue was with connecting the upper bunks together. The 30mm screw is simply too short to fit through the slot in the bed and connect to the nut on the other side. We been using this bunk bed for some weeks now in my kids room and overall i feel good about it. The wood feel strong and not cheap, which i worry before honestly. It come with slats so no box spring needed, that was nice and save extra hassle. Assembly take time, not hard but many parts so patience needed, my husband help me and still took afternoon. The drawers under bed are very useful, we put toys and some clothes there, room look more clean now. Ladder feel secure and guardrails are high enough, my son move a lot when sleep so this make me calm. There is slide too, kids love it a lot, they play every morning like small park. Mattress need be around 6 inch, we use that and fit fine. Later we like that it can split into two beds if kids grow. Only small thing, instructions little confusing but doable. Overall good choice..
