I didn’t like seeing that through the glass so I used black stock card behind the glass doors and that did the trick. I am considering changing the knobs to something more primitive. For size reference, it fits an adult or older child comfortably—my son was nearly 6' tall in the earlier photos and used it without an issue. The aesthetic is clean and modern, fitting in well with most decor. Pro-Tip for Hardwood Floors: The only minor issue I had was some slight scratching on my wood floors. I solved this easily by adding some $6 clear 'sock-style' boots with felt bottoms. It now slides perfectly and hasn't left a mark since! As a testament to the durability—even though my younger kids eventually used the seat as a coloring book (see the last photo!), the chair itself remains as sturdy as the day we bought it. The desk itself is great, the perfect size for our 7 year old with some room to grow. Seems sturdy enough to last. I took a star away for the assembly, it comes in SO MANY PIECES! Like 50 pieces of wood, not including screws and such. It took my husband, who is a handyman/trade worker, about an hour and 15 minutes to put it together just because there were so many parts..
