Love this set. Very affordable, glass, and one of the few I've seen with two bowl sizes as well as two plate sizes! The inside of the dishes and bowls are smooth. They clean beautifully in the dishwasher. They're a bit lighter than you night expect, at least they were for me. We really like this set. In fact, after buying it, we purchased two more of the exact same set. Another reviewer talked about the cereal bowls being too small, but actually we think they are a perfect portion size, and they fit just right in our dishwasher! These dishes were ABSOLUTELY beautiful! I received so many compliments on them. I used them for Christmas and they were the added touch that I needed to make my table look exquisite. However, I had to return the dishes because they scratched so easily. The gold would come off just from handling g the dishes. I tried to convince myself that I could fix the problem and keep the dishes but when I look at the photos on the website, if you looked closely, you could see that those dishes showed some of the gold worn off.
