I had been searching for plates like this for a while, very similar to (and less expensive than) the Lenox Pleated Colors collection I had been searching for. When I came across these on Wayfair, they were the same style I was going for, so I was super excited to get them in.And don’t get me wrong, the plates are beautifully designed. The details, however, have several imperfections. I ordered 2 sets, and each one had several platesbowls with gold rims that were off color or ruined in some way (see attached images). Several plates also had what seems to be the odd gold fleck erroneously sealed under the glaze (also pictured). The quality of the plates themselves are great, they’re sturdy and supposedly dishwasher and microwave safe. I’m curious to see how the gold trim holds up considering it’s not in great shape to begin with. This dinnerware set is classic. It’s simple yet has a touch of elegance that works well for holiday parties. When I bought the first 2 sets, there was a chip in one of the bowls. So I let Wayfair know and sent in some pics. This is why I will go Wayfair every time. Not only was reporting the issue so easy through the app, they responded the next morning saying a replacement was on the way. Well it wasn’t just a replacement bowl, they sent me an entire set! Which makes sense that they can’t break up a full set. The only thing I think I need to say is that the description may say mugs are included with this set but there’s not. I ordered three sets in red to replace my old, dark, heavy stoneware. The Godinger Gathering exceeded my expectations! These plates are sturdy, but don't weigh a ton individually, and stand up well enough that I'm not concerned when my kids clear their own plates from the table. The bowls are perfect for cereal and stack well in the cupboard. Salad plates are smaller than what I am used to, but they serve their purpose well. However, they are not perfect whatsoever. Several plates have a slight warp compared to others and the red rims are not evenly shaded. This does not bother me personally, as I like the "aged" appearance. Two of the mugs were broken in shipping, but Wayfair replaced them quickly with another set. All in all, my order was here quickly, and the replacements dishes as well, resulting in a very happy customer who will love using these plates for years to come!. Lauren. Excellent set of plates. These are better looking in person if you ask me. They are heavy enough but still practical. They seem to be of great quality because as I was removing them from the box one of the salad plates fell and landed on my quartz countertop and to my surprise it didn’t break.
