It isn’t packaged well and the base gets dented and banged up and the palm fronds get bent. I was also impressed with the quality of the metal in the three shades. Its nicely polished and has good thickness so it doesnt feel flimsy or prone to bending or dents. You can position the three lamps independently, but note that they dont light independently. Its on or off for all three at the same time, which is not a problem for me. I LOVE this floor lamp! It doesn’t need to be dimmable since it’s the perfect lighting level (IMO). I don’t like the floor on/off switch. Not convenient and sort of annoying to have to leave the button out exposed, just to turn it off and on with my foot. Other than that, it was super easy to put together, is high quality, and the lamp shade is a pretty gold color when the light is off. This lamp is honestly a piece of art, it is a great lamp if you like birds and the plastic material! Selected high-quality hardware, electroplating gold treatment, the lamp body through many processes, high gloss, can not afford to paint, do not fade.
