These are my favorite dishes I’ve ever owned!!! They are tough, sturdy, lovely, simple, elegant, and can be casual or fancy. I have banged them many times and they have not one chip. My little boys use them all the time. They are the perfect size and true white color and obviously wonderful quality. I love the details of the lines, which make them far from plain. I was excited when we received the set. I have to admit it took some getting used to, cooking with these is a bit different than cooking with the nonstick pans we normally have. I would recommend seasoning the pans before using, it helps to avoid sticking. I bought this set because of how many pots come with it. I love that I get 3 sauce pots! They stack great, are lightweight, and look really nice. The lids are shallow so they can stack upright in a drawer and don't take up very much space. The bottom is smooth and coated which is a plus because the dishwasher doesn't dull the bottom of the pan, however I have noticed that it is doing it to the top rim of the pans. They are starting to get that dull rainbow look from the dishwasher. So these pans can go it the dishwasher but they will last longer if they are hand washed. The lids are vented on 2 sides. I wish they only vented on one side or the top because when you have 4 things going on the stove at once that's 8 spots where steam comes out! These dishes are beautiful and high quality. I needed a set to mix with other dishes I will continue using and these are right at home. I was looking for something simple but not just typical white plates and they’re perfect. They arrived on time and totally intact. As many reviewers have noted, they are not a bright white even though they do photograph that way. They are a warm white and the edge is medium gray. I love the two finishes, almost satin on the underside and gloss inside. The satin finish helps to hold the dish in your hand and the gloss is so nice and easy to clean. The weight is just right, not too heavy. These dishes could be dressed up or down with other items. My family approved of them immediately, yay. The bowl is a terrific size. Loveeeee this set! They are beautiful! If you have trouble with it “losing” its shine (inside) or tarnished its not (look at my photos). You have to treat this set like you treat a cast iron skillet “season” the pans after use. After a good hand wash dry the pans with a soft cloth, then dab a few drops olive oil (or oil if your choice) wipe the inside of each pan (you are coating the oil in the pan) and wah lah they are perfect again!
