It’s beautifully made. No cracks, and it was sturdy. It even came with 3 extra screws when all you need is actually 3 to set up. It just didn’t fit our crib. I thought it would because it seemed like a generic piece but it wasn’t which was a big disappointing. I did set up to return the item even if the shipping was 14. It shipped quickly! Very sturdy. It took us most of the day- all afternoon to evening to put all 3 pieces together but that is what is expected. We used a drill (even though directions says not too) - only use a drill if you are skilled, otherwise you will break the wood pieces. We are very happy with how it turned out and looks.
