The size is perfect, small enough for my limited amount of space but provides enough storage to meet my needs. I will say when I opened the box it had a strong odor, like formaldehyde. I sprayed the pieces lightly with white vinegar and left them outside in the sun to air out any gasses for a couple of days and that seemed to remove the odor. The first drawer was a little tricky to get the slides correct but after I figured it out the rest went together smoothly. I put this together myself in about 2 hours. The outlet on top is a nice bonus that allows me to plug in my coffee maker without having to move the whole dresser to get to the wall outlet behind it, and there is enough space on the backside and the bottom to push the dresser flush to the wall when plugged in (note: it is a 3 prong plug). I recently purchased this nightstand and overall I am satisfied with its design and features. It looks very modern and stylish, and the built-in lighting adds a nice touch to the room. I also really like that it includes a charging station, which is very convenient for everyday use. However, the assembly process could definitely be improved. The drawer slides come in three separate parts, and when trying to separate the third piece, the ball bearings can easily fall out. This made the installation frustrating and messy. In my case, two of the drawer slides were affected by this issue. It would be much better if the slides were designed in two pieces instead of three, making the setup easier and more user-friendly.
