A very well made chest which arrives very well packaged. I have the white which is a creamy white with slight rubbings of brown on some edges. It is tastefully distressed, nothing overt or fake looking, just a gentle, sophisticated piece. The three middle drawers are on metal glides, the side doors open and close smartly. The two top "drawers" on either side are not really drawers. They do not open but they extend the space in the side doors below them. There is an adjustable shelf within the side door openings so an item on the shelf can be very tall, going up into that open space. The drawers and side door spaces are nicely finished inside..
